The forum drew leaders of ministries and major corporations and businesses from both countries. In his address, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh encouraged Vietnamese and Brazilian businesses to strengthen partnership and investment in agriculture; science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, and telecommunications; and mineral exploration and processing (such as copper, oil and gas). The two sides are urged to further open their markets to the other’s agricultural products.
As the world’s top two coffee producers, Vietnam and Brazil agreed to enhance cooperation in the coffee industry, promoting the establishment of a coffee production and export alliance and a coffee exchange, building a joint coffee brand, and elevating the coffee-drinking culture associated with their national identities.

After the forum, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and senior officials from both countries witnessed the Vietnamese and Brazilian enterprises signing cooperation documents in seafood export, livestock farming, and youth football training.
They include: a cooperation agreement on farming and exporting pangasius and tilapia between Nam Viet Joint Stock Company and AV09 Trading Import Company of Brazil; a 200-million USD cooperation agreement on quail farming between Trong Khoi Company and Fujikura Quail Genetics Company of Brazil; and a 3-million USD cooperation agreement on youth football training between Ho Chi Minh City Football Club and Gremio Football Club.
Brazil is Vietnam’s largest trading partner in Latin America, with bilateral trade turnover of nearly 8 billion USD last year. The two countries are striving to soon raise bilateral trade to 10 billion USD, and to 15 billion USD by 2030.
Brazil now has six investment projects in Vietnam with a total registered capital of 3.83 million USD, while Vietnam has one investment project in Brazil valued at 300,000 USD.
