During the visit, the group of officers and commanders paid courtesy visits to the leaders of the People's Committee of Da Nang, Military Region 5, and Naval Region 3. They welcomed Vietnamese delegations to visit the ship, played volleyball with officers and soldiers of Naval Region 3, toured scenic sites and experienced local culture.

India has regularly sent naval ships to courtesy visits to Da Nang city. The latest was the visit of two Indian naval ships, INS Delhi and INS Satpura, in May 2023. The port calls contribute to strengthening Vietnam-India friendship and mutual trust, as the two countries look forward to celebrating the 10th anniversary of their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership next year.
