Vietnam and India navies exchange expertise, boost cooperation

(VOVWORLD) - The Indian Navy ship INS Darshak is visiting Ho Chi Minh City this week. The visit aims to enhance professional exchanges and contribute to deepening cooperation, mutual understanding and trust between the two countries' armies and the navies in particular.

During their stay in Ho Chi Minh City from Thursday to Saturday, the officers and commanders of INS Darshak laid wreaths at the Ho Chi Minh Monument, paid courtesy calls to the leaders of the municipal People's Committee, the Military Region 7 Command and the Naval Region 2 Command.

The Indian side welcomed Vietnamese delegations to tour the ship, played volleyball matches with officers and soldiers of Naval Region 2, as well as toured local cultural sites.
