In the first four months of 2025, bilateral trade between Vietnam and Russia reached 1.57 billion USD, 34% of the total for the previous year. Vietnam’s key exports to Russia are seafood, coffee, tea, cashew nuts, textiles, and footwear. In return, Vietnam imports from Russia fertilizers, coal, petroleum, non-ferrous metals, machinery, and production equipment.

But there is still significant potential for expanding trade between the two countries, particularly in agricultural products, processed foods, pharmaceuticals, and medical equipment, which are the sectors that Russia has demand.

As for the Belarusian market, in addition to seafood, coffee, and rice, Vietnam also has opportunities to expand exports of electronics, footwear, textiles, and dietary supplements.
