Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Le Cong Thanh said that being a member of the ACF will drive innovation, mobilize technical support and financial resources for the agricultural sector, and create opportunities for Vietnam to learn from other members and share its own experience in transforming agricultural and food systems.
The alliance is built on key principles that ensure that food system transformation leads to positive outcomes, including improved food security and nutrition, enhanced equity and livelihoods, stronger adaptation and resilience, reduced emissions, and the protection of natural ecosystems and biodiversity for the benefit of people and the planet.
