Polling stations at village cultural houses and commune, ward, and special zone headquarters have been decorated with national flags, banners, and slogans.
70-year-old Hoang Van Lien, Secretary and head of Neighborhood 5 in Van Don Special Zone, said, “Our residential area has made very thorough preparations, reviewing and posting voter lists and organizing meetings for voters to meet candidates. We’re carefully checking the voter lists to make sure no one is left out, and we intend to conduct the election in line with all regulations.”
Quang Ninh has established 363 election committees for commune-level People’s Councils, 15 for the province-level People’s Council, and three for the National Assembly. 1,243 election teams have been established for the 1,243 polling stations.

Vu Duc Hoan, Secretary and head of Neighborhood 6A in Ha Long ward, told VOV, “We’ve organized voter meetings for candidates running for the provincial- and ward-level People’s Councils to inform their action plans. It’s our goal to make Quang Ninh a centrally governed city by 2030.”
“The voters are very enthusiastic and have great confidence in the candidates. All election team members have been trained and briefed on possible situations that may arise during the voting,” Hoan added.
Since March 1, the provincial Fatherland Front has been organizing voter meetings in all communes, wards, and special zones to give candidates an opportunity to present their action plan and talk directly to the voters. A province-wide online conference was held to review progress, assess preparations, and continue carrying out the plans of the central government and provincial authorities.
