Naval Region 2 organizes early voting

(VOVWORLD) - The Naval Region 2 Command in Ho Chi Minh City on Thursday organized early voting for forces preparing for sea missions, those working at the DK1 offshore platforms and on-duty ships, and fishermen at sea.

The vote for deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the 11th Ho Chi Minh City People’s Council for the 2026–2031 term is a major national political event, ensuring the electoral rights of officers and soldiers stationed offshore.

"Officers and soldiers of Naval Region 2 upheld democracy and a strong sense of responsibility, selecting candidates with virtue, capability and qualifications to represent the will and aspirations of the people," said Rear Admiral Tran Manh Chien, Political Commissar of Naval Region 2.
