The PM said the bridge will improve transportation in the region and support Noi Bai airport and the planned Gia Binh airport. It will also help develop Dong Anh district into a key cultural and service hub.
The bridge will reduce logistics costs for businesses, boost tourism, and create new development space, which will contribute to achieving the national growth target of 8% this year and sustaining double-digit growth in the years to come, he said.
PM Chinh expressed his hope that the Tu Lien bridge will become a new iconic project of Hanoi.
