Simultaneous groundbreaking, inauguration of 234 projects nationwide

(VOVWORLD) -The groundbreaking, inauguration, and technical opening ceremonies for 234 projects and works celebrating the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam were held simultaneously at 9 AM on Friday in 79 online and in-person locations nationwide.

The central location was the groundbreaking ceremony for the Olympic Sports Urban Area project, held in Thuong Phuc commune, Hanoi.

The remaining locations were in Lao Cai, Bac Ninh, Quang Ninh, Hue, Quang Ngai, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City, An Giang, Can Tho, Dong Nai, and the Red River Landscape Boulevard Construction project in Phu Thuong Ward, Hanoi.

The total investment of the 234 projects tops 129 billion USD. Of them, 19 social housing projects have an investment capital of nearly 1 billion USD.
