Speaking at the closing session, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized that the National Assembly had worked with urgency, democracy, and a strong sense of responsibility. During this phase, the legislature adopted eight resolutions related to the amendment and supplementation of several articles of the 2013 Constitution, preparations for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 tenure, and other significant and pressing matters to implement the Politburo’s Resolutions.

Mr. Man said Phase 2 of the session will commence on June 11, during which the National Assembly will review the remaining key items on the agenda. These include continued deliberation and approval of constitutional amendments, the project on merging provincial-level administrative units, a Q&A session, and the adoption of 34 laws and 21 resolutions.

The government and relevant agencies are currently finalizing documentation for several urgent matters. If ready, these items may be added to the agenda for Phase 2.
