At the meeting, participants reviewed the draft working regulations of the committee, the assignment of responsibilities to its members, the 2025 work program, the collection of public feedback on proposed amendments to the 2013 Constitution, a report on legal reforms related to decentralization, and a draft plan to review and settle legal bottlenecks.
General Secretary To Lam said that efforts to improve the legal system must be both practical and grounded in solid scientific principles, adding that expert consultation should be sought for specialized issues.
The General Secretary called for decisive and urgent implementation with clearly measurable outcomes. He stressed that perfecting the legal system must serve as a foundation for innovation and development, enabling the law to unlock the country's full potential and seize every opportunity for growth.
