(VOVworld) – Iran’s economy can’t achieve sustainable economic growth if it is isolated from the rest of the world, said Iranian President Hassan Rouhani at an economic conference in Tehran Sunday.

He said it’s time to change the idea that foreign investors are threats to Iran’s independence and security, adding that Iran will insist on the nation’s ideals and principles and that economic co-operation is only to serve Iran’s national interests. Rouhani said Iran will reduce its reliance on petroleum exports and less dependence will foster nuclear negotiations with the P5+1.
