In recent days, successive storms and tropical depressions have triggered historic flooding across the South Central provinces and parts of the Central Highlands.

More than 100 people have been reported dead or missing, hundreds have been injured, tens of thousands of households have lost their homes, schools have been destroyed, roads have been washed away, and production and business activities have suffered devastating losses. The hardships and grief left by these disasters continue to weigh heavily on local communities.

The affected provinces urgently need significant resources to overcome the consequences of these natural disasters.
