Speaking at a press briefing in Hanoi on Thursday, Ms. Hang said that in recent weeks, many parts of Vietnam have suffered historic floods and consecutive natural disasters, resulting in severe loss of life and property.

As of November 27, the total assistance Vietnam received from the international community has reached nearly 16 million USD.

Vietnamese authorities will ensure that all resources are delivered directly to affected areas and affected people, said Hang.
