The spectacle, staged off Cam Ranh military base in Khanh Hoa province, featured the Navy, Coast Guard, Border Guard, and maritime militia, showcasing an arsenal of modern vessels and equipment.
The parade was broadcast to the historic Ba Dinh Square in the capital city of Hanoi. The vessels moved in two vertical lines, led by the Command Ship 015 at the center. The fleet include a seaplane squadron, anti-submarine helicopters, multi-purpose rescue ships, patrol boats, gunboats, missile ships, submarines, anti-submarine frigates, and missile frigates.

They were deployed into various tactical formations such as the "A" shape and the "V" shape.
The naval parade demonstrated the combined strength of the all-people national defense and people's security posture at sea. It also conveyed a powerful message of a peace-loving Vietnam, steadfast and persistent in defending the sacred sovereignty of its seas and islands.
