Mr. Van led the Vietnamese delegation attending the 43rd meeting of the Standing Committee of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) and the Eurasian Security Forum, held from May 28 to 30 in Perm, Russia.

At the meeting, he praised the ICAPP Standing Committee’s efforts in maintaining the organisation’s activities and welcomed the increasingly diverse initiatives being undertaken, especially amid growing geopolitical uncertainty and complexity at both regional and global levels. He also proposed several measures to strengthen the role of the committee in promoting peace, cooperation and development.

The 43rd Standing Committee meeting reviewed ICAPP’s activities since its 12th General Assembly at the end of 2024, discussed its cooperation agenda through 2025, and outlined plans for implementing priorities.
