Attending were leaders of Vietnamese ministries, sectors, localities and businesses. There were the President of the Moroccan Business Federation and leaders of Moroccan corporations and businesses.
In his remarks, Chairman Man said that the Vietnamese National Assembly is ready to cooperate with the Moroccan National Assembly to share experiences in law-making, especially related to trade, investment and sustainable development, in order to create a favorable legal environment for businesses of the two countries. He emphasized that the two countries have great potential, advantages and room for cooperation.
“2026 is the year the two countries celebrate the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. Therefore, I propose that we complete the legal framework for bilateral cooperation. The two countries need to review and sign the remaining cooperation agreements to promote public investment cooperation in key industries and fields. Vietnam is ready to share the model of building raw material areas, agricultural and aquatic product supply chains, export processing centers and commodity trading suitable to Morocco's conditions.”
Mr. Man called for strengthening business connections. Business associations of the two countries need to boost trade programs, exhibitions and fairs so that businesses can seek specific cooperation opportunities, he said, calling this is an extremely important factor to bolster cooperation.
During the dialogue, representatives from Vietnam and Morocco presented their country’s investment climate and exchanged views on specific investment opportunities. The two countries signed a memorandum of understanding on promoting Vietnam-Morocco investment cooperation.
