During talks in Rabat on Friday with Rachid Talbi El Alami, Speaker of the Moroccan House of Representatives, Chairman Man called for stronger business connections, joint production, and export cooperation to third markets. He also highlighted strategic sectors for collaboration, including agricultural processing, fertilizer manufacturing, and renewable energy.

Chairman Man asked Morocco to support ASEAN and Vietnam’s stance on the East Sea (South China Sea), particularly the peaceful settlement of disputes based on international law.

Speaker El Alami voiced support for a new trade agreement and the expansion of bilateral cooperation.

At a meeting with Moroccan Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch later that day, Chairman Man noted that current economic and trade ties remain modest compared to the two countries’ potential. He urged Morocco to facilitate market access for Vietnam’s key exports, such as agricultural products, leather, textiles, and seafood, and to boost business exchanges.

Prime Minister Akhannouch agreed on the need to align economic cooperation with the strength of political ties and affirmed plans to visit Vietnam soon with a Moroccan business delegation.
