Mr. Errachid proposed that the two countries actively develop joint projects within the framework of South-South cooperation, especially sustainable development projects in Africa, leveraging their strategic positions as gateways to their respective regions.
National Assembly Chairman Man emphasized that the purpose of the visit is to consolidate and further strengthen the good cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries, creating momentum to expand bilateral cooperation in various fields.
He suggested that the two sides study and negotiate a new trade agreement to replace the agreement signed in 2001, remove tariff barriers to facilitate goods from the two countries to access each other's markets, and increase trade promotion activities and organize fairs and exhibitions.
Regarding parliamentary cooperation, both sides were unanimous to collaborate closely at multilateral forums like the Inter-Parliamentary Union and ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly, promote exchanges between young and female legislators.
Additionally, they agreed to enhance high-level delegation exchanges, promote dialogues, and share legislation experience, especially in digital transformation, climate change adaptation, and green growth, as well as parliamentary diplomacy.
They also exchanged notes on regional and international issues of mutual concern, agreeing to resolve disputes by peaceful measures, without using or threatening to use force, in accordance with international law and the UN Charter.
