(VOVWORLD) - Algerian daily Crésus has published an article commending Vietnam’s impressive development achievements on the occasion of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man’s official visits to Senegal and Morocco, and his attendance at the World Conference of Speakers of Parliament in Switzerland from July 22 to 30, hoping that the trip will open new avenues for strengthened cooperation with African nations.

The article described Vietnam as an emerging “knowledge destination” in agricultural and rural development, citing its approach grounded in indigenous values, community-based value chains, and international trade integration. In 2024, the country’s agro-forestry-fisheries exports reached 62.5 billion USD.

Crésus praised Vietnam’s leadership in promoting South-South cooperation, particularly under the four betters outlined by the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), including better production, better nutrition, a better environment, and a better life, ensuring no one is left behind.

The newspaper said it believes that building on a solid foundation of traditional friendship, Vietnam and African countries will continue to deepen their relations through practical and effective cooperation in the new period.
