President Cuong emphasized Vietnam’s deep gratitude for Hungary’s consistent support, both during wartime and in the country’s current process of development and modernization.

He said that during his open, sincere, and productive talks with President Sulyok earlier the same day, both sides reached consensus on major directions and practical measures to further enhance cooperation. The two leaders agreed to deepen the Comprehensive Partnership in a substantive, effective, and sustainable manner.

The Hungarian guest said Vietnam is Hungary’s key partner in politics, science, culture, technology, and economics, adding the mutual respect and achievements both countries have built together form a solid foundation for future cooperation.
