At the meeting, he welcomed the Council’s Spring Forum 2026 on “Asia and the Future of Global Supply Chains,” noting ongoing shifts driven by digital transformation and AI.

He highlighted Vietnam’s long-term development strategy based on five pillars: modern institutions, advanced infrastructure, high-quality human resources, science and innovation, and green, sustainable growth.

Vietnam identifies the private sector as a key growth driver, while foreign-invested enterprises are considered an integral and equal part of the economy, encouraged to develop in a stable and sustainable manner.

Representing the business delegation, Asia Business Council Chairman Arif P. Rachmat reaffirmed their commitment to expanding investment in Vietnam, focusing on infrastructure, AI, green energy, smart agriculture, logistics, software, and financial services.
