To achieve this target, the province’s tourism sector is stepping up promotion and marketing efforts, while improving infrastructure and service quality, said Nguyen The Hue, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Tourism Association:

“In the first quarter of this year, we focused on marketing tourism products in local and international markets, promoting Quang Ninh as a safe and friendly destination. In the second quarter, when the summer tourism season comes, we will work with the provincial authorities to create favorable mechanisms for developing new tourism products,” said Hue.

Alongside annual events such as the Ha Long Carnival, Quang Ninh Tourism Week, running races, and food festivals, Quang Ninh province has restored tours to communities living on Ha Long Bay, including the Cua Van and Vung Vieng fishing village.

Since March, traditional duet singing performances in the Cua Van area have been revived, offering visitors deeper cultural insights into the lives of local fishermen.
