Pakistani Ambassador to Vietnam Kohdayar Marri said that the event showcased the natural beauty, Buddhist cultural heritage, and opportunities for tourism cooperation between the two countries.

The Ambassador said Pakistan lies at the crossroads of major civilizations and boasts a rich cultural diversity with warm and hospitable people. It is home to many UNESCO-recognized cultural heritage sites. However, the number of Vietnamese tourists visiting Pakistan remains modest.

He expressed hope that “Pakistan Tourism Day” would help enhance cultural and tourism cooperation between the two countries and attract more Vietnamese tourists to Pakistan.
