At an international conference in Ha Long City on Friday, Quang Ninh authorities and representatives from Muslim-majority countries such as Pakistan, Iran, and the UAE discussed human resource training to meet the demands of Muslim-friendly tourism, solutions, and policies to attract investment and promote the development of Muslim-friendly tourism in the province and across Vietnam.
The conference aimed to enhance understanding of Halal standards, explore tourism development opportunities tailored to Muslim travelers, and elevate Quang Ninh’s profile as a Muslim-friendly destination.
It also served as a forum for policymakers, businesses, and academics to share insights, discuss challenges, and devise strategies for building a resilient Halal tourism ecosystem.
