NA Chairman: Morocco-Vietnam Friendship Association bridges two countries

(VOVWORLD) -Morocco-Vietnam Friendship Association is a bridge to forge closer ties between the two countries, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said and called for the organization’s further activities to promote the image of the country and people of Vietnam in Morocco.

At Saturday meeting with Chairman of the Association Mustafa El Ktiri in Morocco, Chairman Man applauded the contributions of the Chairman and members of the Association who have actively participated in and supported the Vietnamese Embassy in organizing many foreign affairs activities in the host country as well as creating favorable conditions for Moroccans of Vietnamese origin and Vietnamese community there.

The National Assembly Chairman suggested that the two sides continue to discuss the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Friendship Associations of the two countries to concretize their cooperation, especially in culture, education, economy, trade and investment.

Mustafa El Ktiri said that the Association was established in 2017 with the aim of strengthening people-to-people exchanges between the two countries. Vietnam has also established the Vietnam-Morocco Friendship Association and both Associations are making efforts to achieve common goals. He expressed his hope that the two sides will increase exchanges towards the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2026.
