NA Chairman meets with Vietnam Embassy staff in Thailand

(VOVWORLD) -The Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue on Friday called on Vietnamese agencies, including the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand, to make greater efforts to prepare for upgrading relations between the two countries in the near future.

At a meeting with  the Vietnamese Embassy on Friday evening in Bangkok, as part of his official visit to Thailand, the National Assembly Chairman emphasized that relations between the two countries have the potential to develop even better.

Vietnam and Thailand are working towards the goal of a 25 billion USD trade turnover in a more balanced direction. This is the mission of the Embassy, especially the trade officers, he said.

Embassy officials and employees were urged to capitalize on their strengths and advantages to contribute to promoting Vietnam-Thailand cooperation to new heights.
