According to a recent report, more than 280 million opinions from individuals, agencies, and organizations have been collected on amending the 2013 Constitution, with an approval rate of 99.75%.

Mr. Man said the amendments will institutionalize the resolutions of the 13th National Party Congress. He urged the committee to finalize the draft and submit it to the NA by June 16 in order to keep pace with the streamlining of the political system and implementation of the two-tier local government model.

The committee approved a draft verification report and a draft resolution which is forwarded to the second round of the legislature’s ninth session, which will open on Wednesday.
