The largest demonstration took place in Rome, Italy, where around 300,000 people took to the streets. The protest was organized by the Five Star Movement and the Green Left Alliance.
Demonstrators carried numerous banners and chanted slogans demanding an end to Israel’s attacks on Gaza and a halt to what they described as the massacre of Palestinian civilians.
In Israel, anti-war protests have continued to be held every Saturday evening, with thousands participating. Tel Aviv, the epicenter of the protest movement, has seen simultaneous demonstrations in several locations, including Hostage Square, Habima Square, Begin Road, and Kaplan Street.
Among these, a protest organized by approximately 400 left-wing activists on Kaplan Street condemned Israel’s decision to resume its military campaign in Gaza on March 18, which has resulted in the deaths of many Palestinian children.
