11 people among the casualties were killed in an airstrike in the Jabalia area in northern Gaza.

Israel's army said four Israeli soldiers were killed and five were wounded by an explosion in a building in southern Gaza’s Khan Younis on Friday morning. The incident was allegedly caused by Hamas. This was the deadliest damage confirmed by the Israeli military in Gaza since it resumed its offensive campaign against Hamas on March 18.

In another development, the Lebanese army condemned Friday Israel’s airstrikes on suburbs of Beirut on Thursday, warning that they might eventually suspend cooperation with the committee monitoring the truce between Israel and Hezbollah.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz warned Friday that Israel will continue to attack Lebanon until it disarms militant group Hezbollah. He said the Lebanese government holds the responsibility for preventing violations of the ceasefire and all terrorist activity against Israel.
