Hanoi currently has more than 3,700 tourist accommodation establishments, including 600 hotels rated from 1-5 stars. The system of standard shopping, dining and entertainment services has been established.

Hanoi's tourism sector is designing more tours from the city center to craft villages and attractions of neighboring localities. The sector has engaged in cooperation activities with key tourism provinces and cities, promoted programs in global markets, and welcomed foreign reporters and travel businesses to Hanoi.
