Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the Vietnam-China relationship as a strategic choice and a top priority. He expressed his hope that the Vietnamese community in Yunnan would contribute to preserving, maintaining and strengthening ties between the two nations.
He urged them to uphold a spirit of unity, overcome challenges, preserve cultural identity, and integrate into their communities while staying connected to their homeland.

The same day, Prime Minister Chinh attended the Vietnam Culture and Tourism Festival held at the Yunnan Theater in Kunming.
He visited an exhibition featuring 40 photographs showcasing Vietnam's cultural heritage, tourism, and natural landscapes, organized around four themes: "Vietnam - Land of Miraculous Heritages," "Vietnam - Paradise of World Biosphere Reserves," "Vietnam - Land of Living Memories," and "Vietnam - Home of the World’s Intangible Heritage."
The Prime Minister and his delegation enjoyed an art performance by Vietnamese and Chinese artists featuring solidarity and friendship between the two countries.
