To meet the demands for digital transformation, Vietnam needs a universal, sustainable, green, smart, open, and safe digital infrastructure, with huge data storage and high bandwidth, said Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Huy Dung at the event.

He added that to develop its internet services and new technologies, Vietnam’s internet infrastructure needs to be upgraded and made compatible with new technology, while remaining secured and sustainable.

Solutions introduced at the event included those for evaluating, monitoring, measuring, and exploiting data to help build Vietnam’s digital transformation, as well as internet infrastructure. New technologies like IPv6, 5G, 6G, and AI were also discussed.

Within the ‘stacks’ of digital infrastructure, internet infrastructure is one of the most important and obvious layers to promote the development of digital data, digital technology, and digital transformation.

On the sidelines of the event was an exhibition featuring internet-related products and an area for students to experience and apply internet resources and the national domain ‘.vn’ in their studies and startups.
