National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue attended the opening ceremony at the Tam Chuc Scenic Landscape Complex.
In his opening address, Deputy Secretary of the Ha Nam Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Truong Quoc Huy, said: “Coming to Ha Nam Culture and Tourism Week 2023, delegates and visitors will experience 12 unique cultural, sports and tourism activities. These quality events not only promote tourism but also create opportunities for investors to seek investment and tourism opportunities in our province. The results of economic and cultural cooperation between Ha Nam and Japanese localities have contributed to deepening the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Japan.”

Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Yamada Takio said that Ha Nam has become one of the model localities for Japan-Vietnam friendship cooperation. According to the Ambassador, many Japanese enterprises have been operating in a favorable investment environment in Ha Nam.

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue presented Ha Nam province with a decision recognizing its two national treasures. The stone stele of Giau pagoda in Phu Ly city is the only in the Ha Nam stele dating back to the Tran Dynasty (1366). The Tien Noi 1 Bronze Drum (part of a collection of 16 pieces in the Ha Nam Provincial Museum) dates from the Dong Son culture in the 4th-3rd century BC. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism also presented a decision recognizing four Ha Nam relics as national historical relics: writer Nam Cao’s memorial in Ly Nhan district, the Lat Son revolutionary base, the Bat Canh Son scenic spot, and the Tam Chuc scenic complex in Kim Bang district.
