(VOVworld) – The Prime Minister has promulgated a policy of providing the poor with housing under poverty standards for the 2011-2015 period.

Under the policy, some 311,000 disadvantaged households in rural areas will be given safe accommodations to improve their living conditions toward sustainable poverty reduction.

Statistics show that about 510,000 poor households are suffering from housing difficulties under the new standards 850 million USD is needed to help them.
