He affirmed that the summit is the most significant event for the country in 2019, showing that Vietnam is a reliable friend and partner of the international community and reflecting the active and responsible contributions of Vietnam to regional and global issues.

Through the event, the image of Vietnam and Hanoi, a city of peace and a favourable destination for investment, trade, tourism, and cultural exchange, will be promoted worldwide.

Noting that there are only a few days until the summit, the Deputy PM asked agencies to promptly complete the preparation with a focus on security and safety. He also underlined the need to create optimal conditions for foreign reporters to cover the summit and related activities in Vietnam.
