During his reception for the Ambassador on Wednesday, the Prime Minister asked Ambassador Kim Do-hyun to continue fostering cooperation between the two countries’ businesses and pledged more dialogues with the Korean investors. Ambassador Kim said major Korean groups, including Samsung, have keen interest in business expansion in Vietnam and many of them want to invest Vietnam’s central region, which has great potential for development. He said the Republic of Korea has considerable need to employ workers in healthcare for the elderly. He wished for Vietnam’s successful hosting of the 2nd US-DPRK Summit in Hanoi as a practical contribution to peace and reconciliation.
