Conference on human rights information opens in Hoa Binh

(VOVWORLD) - An external information training conference on human rights to implement a project on Human Rights Communications in Vietnam for the 2023-2028 period took place in Hoa Binh on Thursday.

The conference, the third this year, was attended by press agencies and officials from 26 provinces and cities, including Vinh Phuc, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Lai Chau, Hanoi, and Bac Kan.

The conference was coordinated by the Ministry of Information and Communications and the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province and marked the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on December 10.

The event provided information on democracy, human rights, ethnicity, and religion, and highlighted Vietnam's role and contributions in its first year as a member of the UN Human Rights Council for the 2023-2025 term.

VOV World Service gave a presentation on how to keep the audience better informed of and effectively refute false accusations about human rights situation in Vietnam.
