The Border Guard Command of Ca Mau province organized working delegations to visit and give gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers, war invalids, and their families. Other meaningful activities included providing free medical examinations and medicines to war invalids and their families, and offering incense to commemorate martyrs in communes and towns in the  province.

The Hau Giang provincial Youth Union organized a "Candle Lighting Ceremony" Thursday night to honor heroic martyrs at the provincial martyrs' cemetery.

Representatives of organizations offered incense and flowers and lit candles at 3,600 graves of martyrs, to respectfully express their gratitude.

The Vinh Long provincial Youth Union organized a candle lighting ceremony Thursday to honor the province’s heroic martyrs.

Youth Union members cleaned and decorated the martyrs’ cemetery grounds, and delivered gifts and meals to the families of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and others who have rendered meritorious services to the nation.
