The campaign is built around the “Four Nos” (no interference, no abetment, no neglect, no concealment) and the “Four Bests” (highest determination, strongest action, greatest responsibility, best results), aiming to help remove the European Commission’s “yellow card” in 2025.
Despite rough seas caused by typhoon Kalmaegi, a working delegation boarded Coast Guard Vessel 4031 on November 6 to inspect IUU enforcement by the Forward Command and associated vessels in the Vietnam–Indonesia border area.
In the first 10 days of the intensified campaign, since October 29, patrol forces sanctioned 54 fishing boats, imposing fines totaling more than 23,000 USD. They also provided emergency aid to three injured fishermen and distributed hundreds of national flags and life jackets
