At the meeting, the Prime Minister asked the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to urgently finalize and issue guidance on the electronic traceability system within this month. He also asked the ministries, sectors, and localities to coordinate and implement comprehensive measures to have the EU’s IUU “yellow card” lifted within this year.
The Prime Minister said: “The localities must manage their fishing fleets. Allowing vessels without a monitoring system or without meeting standards to go offshore clearly shows weak management. In disputed waters, we must protect our sovereignty, but when vessels violate other countries' waters, strict action is required. All forces must work together to manage fishermen, especially at the local level. Any vessel that does not meet the required conditions must not be allowed to sail.”
Until the end of 2025, the Prime Minister called for maintaining macroeconomic stability, controlling inflation, ensuring major economic balances, and building a solid foundation for fast and sustainable growth.
He stressed the need to renew traditional growth drivers and strongly promote new ones such as science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, the green economy, the circular economy, the creative economy, and the development of an international financial center.
The Prime Minister also requested the effective implementation of the two-tier local government model and stressed the need to focus on disaster response and recovery, ensuring timely support for affected localities.
