Socheata said the Royal Government of Cambodia and its armed forces are fully committed to implementing all terms of the ceasefire agreement, including complete cessation of all hostilities, no mobilisation or deployment of additional troops, maintaining positions as of midnight July 28, and establishing working groups to serve as communications channels.
She said two monitoring teams led by Malaysia have been deployed to verify implementation of the ceasefire. One team is stationed in Cambodia and the other in Thailand, each headed by Malaysia’s senior resident military attaché in that country.
