Sin Chansereywattha, Secretary of State and spokesperson for the SSCA, said flights between Cambodia and Thailand are still operating normally.

One day earlier, on July 25, the SSCA issued a directive requiring all aircraft flying under 11,000 meters within Cambodian airspace to reroute to avoid potential risks. This regulation remains in effect until further notice.

Also on Saturday, Cambodia temporarily closed 536 schools across five provinces due to intensified clashes near the border with Thailand

In Thailand, the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC) ordered the temporary closure of 751 schools in high-risk border areas. According to regional education offices in Si Sa Ket and Yasothon Provinces, students have been instructed to evacuate, and all classes have been suspended.

Tensions along the Cambodia–Thailand border escalated into armed clashes at multiple points along the frontline starting July 24.
