Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Chairman of the Hue City People’s Committee, stated that the city will focus on key programs to drive new growth, with priorities including infrastructure development, urban renovation, digital transformation, tourism promotion, and competitiveness.

“We will strongly mobilize resources to develop tourism and services as a key economic sector, aiming to welcome 7–7.5 million visitors. Efforts will be made to strengthen regional links, expand international markets, and increase direct flight routes and the frequency of domestic flights. Service sectors with competitive edge will be boosted and the establishment of the Chan May–Lang Co Free Trade Zone be studied,” said Toan.
