50,000 face masks presented to Vietnamese community in Canada

(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnamese Embassy in Ottawa on Saturday presented 50,000 face masks to the Vietnamese community in Canada with the hope that all Vietnamese citizens in Canada will be safe and sound and overcome difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Canada Pham Cao Phong said 50,000 face masks expressed the Vietnamese government’s humanity to the Vietnamese community in Canada. He added that this also demonstrates the Vietnamese tradition of solidarity.

The Embassy pledged to do its utmost to protect Vietnamese citizens in Canada.
