(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnamese government has donated 1,500 face masks to the Vietnamese community in Spain.

At a hand-over ceremony on Thursday in the Vietnamese Embassy building in Spain, Ambassador Hoang Xuan Hai said the gift shows the Vietnamese government’s care for overseas Vietnamese while it is working hard to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic at home.

On behalf of the Vietnamese community in Spain, Mrs. Tran Thi Thu Thuy thanked the Vietnamese government’s care for Vietnamese people living and working abroad to overcome this difficult time.

The Vietnamese Embassy will deliver more face masks to overseas Vietnamese in other localities in Spain.
