As of June 13 there were a total of 37 Vietnamese nationals and 4 people of Vietnamese origin in Iran. In Israel, there are approximately 700 Vietnamese citizens/people of Vietnamese origin, including members of representative agencies and their relatives.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Wednesday that 16 Vietnamese citizens had returned home safely. On Monday, the Vietnamese Embassy in Iran and the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia organized the evacuation of 18 citizens from Iran to Azerbaijan. The Vietnamese Embassy in Iran and its staff are still safe, maintaining normal operations and keeping in touch with the remaining 11 citizens (mainly permanent settlers in Iran).
The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel has opened a registration of wishes to return home for the Vietnamese community, preparing detailed plans for evacuation and coordinating with Vietnamese representative agencies in neighboring countries and their authorities to expedite these plans as soon as necessary.
