A Czech government aircraft carrying 66 people, mostly Czech nationals, landed in Prague on Tuesday morning. The day before, on Monday, a Slovakian aircraft brought 73 evacuees of various nationalities back to Bratislava. Evacuees were transported to Jordanian airports by bus and then exited Israel via land routes.

Also on Tuesday, government officials from Azerbaijan and Armenia reported that more than 600 citizens from 17 countries had fled Iran to Azerbaijan and Armenia since Israel began its attacks on Tehran last week. The evacuees include nationals from Russia, Germany, Spain, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and China, among others.

Although Azerbaijan has kept its land borders closed since 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it temporarily reopened them to facilitate the evacuation of people from Iran.
