A total of 60 Israeli fighter jets targeted ballistic missile launch platforms used by Iran in recent attacks against Israel. Since the start of the campaign in the early hours of June 13, Israel claims to have destroyed 40% of Iran’s missile arsenal and neutralized more than 70 air defense systems. Tehran has emerged as one of the most frequently targeted locations by Israeli airstrikes.
On the Iranian side, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it had launched precision ballistic missile strikes on multiple strategic sites in Israel, including the headquarters of the Military Intelligence Directorate under Israel’s Ministry of Defense in Tel Aviv.
The Israeli military confirmed that Iran had launched multiple salvos of ballistic missiles throughout Tuesday targeting several cities, including Tel Aviv and the port city of Haifa.
Iran's attacks caused significant infrastructure damage and left numerous civilians injured. However, Israel said that although the frequency of attacks increased compared to previous days, the overall scale and number of missiles used by Iran had decreased noticeably.
