Amazon vows to support Vietnam to become regional e-commerce export hub

(VOVWORLD) - Amazon pledges long-term cooperation with Vietnam, supporting the global reach of “Made in Vietnam” products and helping Vietnam become a Southeast Asian hub for e-commerce-based exports, said Ms. Susan Pointer, Global Vice President for Public Policy at Amazon.

At a meeting with Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long in Hanoi on Friday, Ms. Pointer commended Vietnam’s socio-economic achievements in 2025, particularly administrative reforms and digital transformation.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long called on Amazon to expand cooperation with Vietnamese tech firms to enhance production and product development within Amazon’s ecosystem in Vietnam.

The Deputy Prime affirmed Vietnam’s readiness to facilitate long-term and effective investment by Amazon.
